What a concept. How amazing!!! THANK YOU DELL for the invite… I’m sorry I can’t attend due to another engagement, but what an honor to be asked. I look forward to working with you. Dell gets it!!!

Fly the Flag with Pride
Posted By tommytrc On Thursday, May 27th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: Etiquette, eviction, Flag, Flag of the United States, patriotic, Politics, United StatesAn Army Vet told American flag in apartment window violates rental agreement http://bit.ly/dwne3k. What the hell is this all about? This just kills me, good people being told they are going to get evicted for flying the american flag. What a joke! This makes my blood boil!! On american soil being told you can’t fly old glory because its not fair? Fair to who? Well I called up the management company and stated my name and reason for calling and was promptly hung up on. How pathetic. I suggest you call, be nice but tell them that no friend of yours will ever rent form them again till they change their policy. We’ll see what kind of response they get! The number is 920-426-2060. Again, if you call, please be kind but state your thoughts on the matter.
UPDATE: Midwest Realty Management has had a change of heart. The say they will not be evicting the Price family over their display of the American flag. WFRV 5 Story. THANK YOU for making the right choice here. I do not, whatsoever, condone the use of threatening phone calls of even calling the employees at home. Its certianly not the employees fault for a bad policy. A tastefully worded email or phoen call was all that was needed. Using harsh language is no way to solve a disagreement.

This last year since the birth of baby Drew has been amazing. First the news report, then a public speaking gig with Red Shoes PR and the Fox Cities Chamber. Who would have thought the potential of a poor boy form Rochester, NY…

Trumpet Playing Band
Posted By tommytrc On Wednesday, May 19th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: band, Choir, High school, jazz band, lchs, little chute high school, madeline, tommytrc, TrumpetMadeline performed at the Little Chute High School band and choir concert last evening. It was amazing to see her in action. Watching her play the horn sent me back to days gone by where I would come home from school, run into the house and see Grandpa Grillo playing his trumpet in the living room. What a comforting sound to hear and watching you play brought those memories back so vividly. GREAT JOB Madeline!

Breakfast with Social Media Masters
Posted By tommytrc On Wednesday, May 19th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: business, Green Bay Wisconsin, Marketing and Advertising, New North, NNSMB, Social media, Social Media Breakfast, twitterThis morning I attended the New North Social Media breakfast hosted at Titletown in Green bay. I noshed with some great ones in the social media arena. What is different about this visit is I was going on behalf of HC Miller and not as an innocent bystander like my days of old at my last job. So many new people to meet, so few business cards to give out.

Well, You Know How It Is…
Posted By tommytrc On Thursday, May 13th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: career, co-worker, Employment, job, life, sad, tommytrcTommy talks about a run-in he had with a former co-worker and his response to the question “How’s it going?” How said it is to hear, “Well you know how it is?” What a life to know you have lost a career and just have a job. How Sad! Why do people put up with going to work day after day if they are not 100% happy. I would hate that so much.

Tommy talks about phone service and poor customer service with one of his vendors. What a weekend. Emma had her 3rd birthday celebration at the house with all the tourville/ clifford kids. What a blast we had.

I have had some amazingly great interactions with AT&T’s customer service over the past 2 weeks. I know its glamorous to dog pile on AT&T these days with regards to iphone issues, but right now I could not be happier. Today AT&T deleted over $90 in Canadian data usage. WOW I’m just so impressed with them.
