Over the Top GREAT Customer Service @AffinityHealth
Posted By tommytrc On Sunday, February 7th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: affinity, affinity health, apology, business, Customer service, Health, service, sick, sorryThis story comes full circle. Today I received a phone call from the Affinity Health doctor that was responsible for seeing Baby Drew. I heard the 2 words that rarely if ever get said, I’m Sorry. She said I’M SORRY!!! I’m 100%, do not pass go, do not collect $200 BLOWN AWAY with the fact that someone called to apologize. How awesome is that!! When was the last time someone actually said “I’m sorry?” People screw up all the time, but how pleasant is it when someone actually admits it. A prime example of excellent customer service. Affinity Health has a customer for life and this is reason #1.

Friday Morning Pancakes – Affinity Tweetup
Posted By tommytrc On Saturday, February 6th 2010 In TommyLog Tags: affinity, engage, friend, Health, hospital, pancakes, Public relations, red shoes pr, Relationships, st. elizabethToday was truly an AMAZING day. Every other week we have a breakfast tweetup at BlueBerry Hill. Well this week, Affinity Health offered to host the breakfast at St Elizabeth hospital. We had civic leaders there, the president of the hospital, their PR firm and many many others. Over 40 in all were in attendance. What a true testament to the friends I have here in NE Wisconsin. Its truly humbling the lasting relationships I have made.

What a rough weekend. Baby Drew had a ear infection. Went to the doctor Sunday morning and the doctor forgot to call in his meds to the pharmacy. Aaarg. More people not doing their job. Does this seem familiar?

Winter storm in NE Wisconsin has dumped 4-6 inches on the ground Emma has what looks to be a mild case of pink eye… so off to the doctor we go. We wanted to see Dr Cruz, but Noooooooo he’s on vacation with his family. I think that Affinity needs to have a NO VACATION policy so we can see the doctors we want, when we want… I mean its all about us isn’t it? Tommy also spends a time talking about seeing AVATARin 3D the night before. WOW AVATAR has to be the best move I have ever seen!!! Ever ever ever!!! The 3D effects were just amazing!!! GO SEE IT!!!

Emma Loves Pink Lions
Posted By tommytrc On Friday, November 27th 2009 In TommyLog Tags: affinity, breast cancer, emma, hospital, lion, pink, st. elizabethThe St. Elizabeth Hospital Pink Lion will always have a place in the heart of my 2 year old Emma. Ever since the birth of our son Drew 6 months ago, Emma pretty much demands that she see the “Pink Lion” so we need to drive by it, roll down her window so she can say hello. Take a look as we drive by today and see for yourself what it does to her.
