Happy Snow, happy Friday and happy new Orleans. I leave for my GUA trip to New Orleans on Monday. So excited!

Today I discuss taking time to slow down and enjoy what’s around you. Don’t be that person who works from 7 am till 11 pm all in the name of family when you have no time to spend with them. Take time to smell the roses!

It’s that time of year again… holiday spirit, Christmas tree’s and lights. I love this time of year and the goodwill that spreads around. Busy season with many holiday parties, gatherings and bell ringing. I love bell ringing! I love you kids!

Another amazing Clifford family weekend with the big kids is under the belt. October is here and fall is in the air. A quick chat about good leaders and what makes a normal leader a great leader??? It’s only been one day but I already miss Tim at work. he was a super boss and a great friend. He will rock his new gig!

What a wonderful weekend we had. The Clifford’s went to Quarry Quest this year and boy was it AWESOME!!! So well done. So many great volunteers. So many things to see and do. Emma and Drew just had such a blast. THANK YOU all who made that event special

Today is the opening of the 2011-12 NFL Season and the Super Bowl champs city gets to host the party of all parties! Welcome to Green Bay Wisconsin and look at the red carpet the NFL has rolled out for the rest of the world. Lambeau Field is the show place for the rest of the world tonight! ALL EYES ON GREEN BAY…well those that are not tuned into the Presidents speech LOL… Hello Timing!

Today I come to you just outside the gates of the free concert. The excitement is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

Well a new school year is upon us and we are ready to rock this year. Tommy in 6th grade, Clara in 7th and Madeline a Junior. WOW how fast it happens!!

I’m so glad to be a part of their growth process and watch them mature. Some huge storms tear through the area.

Tommy visits the photography studio of David E. Jackson and they talk kids, work and passion. David has a zest for life as well as a photographic eye second to none. Watch out world… David is coming.

Over the weekend, the Mrs and Jody (my ex) went to get sushi at the Osaka restaurant by the mall. Such great sushi. I once thought that the only good sushi place was the Koriana.

Tommy took over the lawn mowing duties this week and did one heck of a good job. Kinda caught me off guard how excited he was to mow, but if he wants to do it, then go right ahead!

So Emma and Drew each got bikes with training wheels on them this weekend. Not new new..but new to them and they could not be happier. These are Clara and Tommy’s old bikes…but who cares. I put on the training wheels and a bell on Emma’s and she was off to the races. Drew does not ride his, he just leads it around by the handle bars. Emma calls her bike bullseye and her name is Jessie… ala Toy Story.

We had an awesome big kid lunch this weekend with mom. So great to share lunch with everyone knowing everyone gets along so well. I know some people say its odd the way my ex and current wife get along so well..but it works and I really think that’s the way it’s supposed to be!

Tommy visit Uncle Andy in Atlanta… and boy is it hot!! Actually to be fair, it cooler in Atlanta then in Appleton…so hot.
