Today is the 10th anniversary of the terror bombings of the World Trade Center. I reflect at that moment and where I was on that day. I took a trip to New York City a few weeks after and I share my story. So many images being shared, I had to add my 2 cents to the mix. I added a few pix I took from my NYC trip to the video.

I will never forget!

Well a new school year is upon us and we are ready to rock this year. Tommy in 6th grade, Clara in 7th and Madeline a Junior. WOW how fast it happens!!

I’m so glad to be a part of their growth process and watch them mature. Some huge storms tear through the area.

Tommy visit Uncle Andy in Atlanta… and boy is it hot!! Actually to be fair, it cooler in Atlanta then in Appleton…so hot.

I received an email from a long lost college roommate of mine from BYU, Kevin Shelley. – Love Kevin. He told me of the death of a mutual friend from our sophomore year at BYU. The thing that touched me so much was that Kevin got to chat with her just days before she passed. She told Kevin that I was the first person she met at BYU and the positive impact I had on her live…even after 16 years. WOW!
Makes you think that impact and mark will you make? Do you do stuff just for today or do you plan for the future?

Life is getting better every day. So much progress on the kid front..its great to be a part of this process and to learn and grow with them. Its a big 4th of July weekend…lots of firework and picnic action. I love you kids!

Ew… bad news kids, Grandma Cunningham fell and needs 3 titanium pins in her hip. She fell getting out of the car and needs some extra prayers. She should be out of the hospital by the end of the week…fingers crossed.

This last weekend was Fathers day and what an amazing day it was. Just knowing your kids love you is priceless…well the gifts didn’t hurt either * WINK *

Today I talk about taking the high road when dealing with issues. A very good friend helped show me that this week and I was to thank her for her friendship and leadership. When life gets you down…retaliation is no way of handing the problem.

This is one of the hardest tommylog’s I have had to do in a long time… if not ever. The tommytrc family is dealing with a sexual predator that has infiltrated the family. I feel so lost, I feel so empty and I feel so hurt!! I know this issue will come as a complete shock to those who are watching… The Clifford family really needs your thoughts and prayers. I’m not here to point fingers and say who … the court system will take care of that for me… but I’m just stunned. As a father I feel so helpless. To know me is to know my children. I can’t go a moment w/o glowing about them. I take my fatherhood so serious and when this happens, its personal!

Today, one of my best friends, lost his sweetheart to cancer. What a loss… and a sad day for all who knew her and Rick. Rick has always been my biggest advocate throughout my work career at Banta and beyond. Always cheering me onto greater heights and seeing this all unfold is just rotten. Hearing this news has just crushed me. I’m rarely like this but I had to share.

Makes you really think… how will you be remembered? Are you remembered for your faults or your good deeds?

I love you all.. The outpouring of emails, texts, DM’s and phone calls is just overwhelming. I can not help but have a smile on my face. People both internally and externally are stepping up and going to bat for Tommy. I guess the saying you reap what you sew is coming true as I’m having an outpouring of love like I have never seen before. Its truly amazing and I’m humbled to no end.

I have no idea where this is going but my time at HC Miller has been nothing but a blessing. To my HC Miller family and I call them family THANK YOU!
