I love you all.. The outpouring of emails, texts, DM’s and phone calls is just overwhelming. I can not help but have a smile on my face. People both internally and externally are stepping up and going to bat for Tommy. I guess the saying you reap what you sew is coming true as I’m having an outpouring of love like I have never seen before. Its truly amazing and I’m humbled to no end.

I have no idea where this is going but my time at HC Miller has been nothing but a blessing. To my HC Miller family and I call them family THANK YOU!

Tommy talks about his trip to Ground Zeros 6 weeks after the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11. The sights, the smells, the reverence. The sight of all the workers stopping work as found remains are carried to a waiting ambulance. The smell of diesel fuel and welding torches as the steel is being cut and carted out of the site. Seeing all the photos along the fences of lost loved ones. Just overwhelming putting your hands around the scene.

Tommy talks to all the cowardly people in the newspapers who hide behind their avatars and leave vile and venom filled comments regarding the Arboleda family who was selected as an Extreme Makeover Home edition recipient. These comments are just terrible. From wanting to know what they did to deserve this to pointing fingers at how big their family is and it’s their fault for having so many kids to why not spend the money on other more deserving families. One person even said “he has a masters why not get a better job?” Is this really what this is all about? NO!!! It’s about making a dream come true. It’s about the community and coming together. How amazing is this for the people and town of Neenah. The exposure is wonderful and the good will, over the top awesome! Why can’t we all just be thankful for this family? Why can’t we all just love serving and helping others in need? Why must we cut down the process and chastise the family?
Can’t we just be happy for them? Remember kids… if life was fair, none of us would be there. Never forget that.

What a few days Baby Drew has had. Dad talks about Drew’s stay in the hospital along with some footage of the man himself.

Mrstommy is away at a “teacher conference” in Denver, Co. If she really needed time away, she could of asked LOL. The big kids mom had to write a short story reliving a part of her life. She picked the time when Madeline was born, breech. So not only was Madeline born C-section, but 1 week later, mom had to have her appendix taken out. A scary time for tommy watching your sweetie wheeled away as you hold your 1 week old. Yikes.

I just love when its big kid weekend. Since I’m a dad of 2 families, i only get the big kids every other weekend and this is my weekend YEA!!!! Love having fun with the Madeline, Clara & Tommy. Today we discuss who is my favorite child.

The death of a co-worker makes you reflect on the things that are really important. Family and friends are the only real thing that matter. Madeline, Clara and Tommy all prepare for large roles in school plays. How exciting!!

Tommy talks about how precious life is and how quickly things can change. Tommy has to go to the viewing of a co-worker who was killed in a car crash last week. Love each day and make the most of the loved ones around you.
