I had the opportunity of hearing PR expert Peter Shankman speak as part of the PRSA’s 10th anniversary event in Green Bay. he was a joy to listen to and just so high energy. I think he drank 4-5 cans of diet coke during his speach and people think I drink a lot.

He gave us 4 rules to live by…for better customer service and to better connect. Just brilliant!!! So simple, yet so perfect!

I attended the last New North Social media Breakfast at UWGB. Very well done, very poorly attended. One of the things that was there was a fishbowl to drop your business card into. Well today i was notified by the head of UWGB marketing that I won tickets to 5 basketball games. HOW GREAT IS THAT!!!

Also getting psyched for the next NNSMB with Peter Shankman at brett Farve Steak house tomorrow. My first official PR thing ever and work is PAYING for it!!! Yeah!

Tommy attended his first New North Social Media Breakfast. #NNSMB This one was held in Little Chute and was sponsored by WFRV. There was a super cast of characters on the panel and some donuts to boot. What a country. Yesterday I went to Red Shoes PR to film a few more episodes of Red Shoes Speaks. One of the topics we talked about was filing systems and are we digital hoarders? What do you think? Can you toss emails and files, or do you just keep them till you run out of HD space?

Today was truly an AMAZING day. Every other week we have a breakfast tweetup at BlueBerry Hill. Well this week, Affinity Health offered to host the breakfast at St Elizabeth hospital. We had civic leaders there, the president of the hospital, their PR firm and many many others. Over 40 in all were in attendance. What a true testament to the friends I have here in NE Wisconsin. Its truly humbling the lasting relationships I have made.
