I immediately tuned to the cable news shows to see what was happening. While they were trying to make sense of it all..across my twitter stream came UNCONFIRMED: BIN LADEN DEAD! HOLY COW!!! The scoop was on twitter and not the news channels.

Take a normal boring item and really kicking it up by blending items. What a way to totally win! More business needed to follow their lead and take notice!

Life just gets better and better. Sorry I have not said a lot over the past few days. WOW What a whirlwind deal. HC Miller asked me to come back… WOW… I have some new opportunity to teach small business social media int eh valley, Double WOW and the Tech is interested in me teaching more small business classes Triple WOW. I am so blessed. Now i’m off to SLC to be with my family and to see my sister Nancy get married. So cool to be able to co back to my old stomping ground for a spell. Yesterday I was part of the first social media for business class. An amazing opportunity to take what I know and funnel that to budding business in the valley. The class just one part of a big social media puzzle..but its a start and I feel it was well received. I’m excited to share and to learn. I leered a trick or 2 last evening!

I’m also gearing up for a speaking engagement for University of oshkosh next week. HOW COOL IS THAT!!! I’m going to be speaking to the social media club on campus!

The free PSP that I received from Klout is just such an ingenious and truly revolutionary way of marketing the TBS new show Are We There Yet… Just so cool. And to top it all off I got my February edition of Fox Cities magazine. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE reading her articles and knowing her voice behind it. Just GREAT stuff!!!

My network never seems to amaze me or let me down. I am so blessed by the contacts I have. I attended the New North Social Media Breakfast this morning and it was all about real estate. I know nothing of real estate but it was great to hear how others were using social media tools to help build leads.

Also talked about Tommy’s Cub Scout Arrow of Light and Clara’s big 12 birthday today!!!

Well unemployment day 7 is coming and going and the Clifford family IS JUST SO BLESSED. I have no less then 12 potential business and job opportunities in front of me at this moment. Now to be fair, none of them are actually making money but things are moving forward and I can’t complain. Like I said, we are being watched over…. THANK YOU social media community. It amazing whats happening!!!

Ever had a day that was kinda blah and then you get one comment, note or card that just changes everything for the better. Well today on twitter I had one message from Erin @wfrv5 on twitter and it lifted my spirits so much. I just had to say THANK YOU!

Yesterday I went to Milwaukee with some good friends to see Scott Stratten @unmarketing on twitter speak about his new book titles UNMarketing. What a great opportunity to meet nationally recognized authors talk about a subject I’m trying to learn.

More on that later…. Just so AMAZING!!!!

I had the opportunity of hearing PR expert Peter Shankman speak as part of the PRSA’s 10th anniversary event in Green Bay. he was a joy to listen to and just so high energy. I think he drank 4-5 cans of diet coke during his speach and people think I drink a lot.

He gave us 4 rules to live by…for better customer service and to better connect. Just brilliant!!! So simple, yet so perfect!
