Today I had breakfast with 3 new friends discussing some seriously GREAT news for Tommy. I’m so excited it really hasn’t sunk in yet. Kinda monumental and a big deal for me. During the discussion it came up that they checked out all my online social media sources and googled me so its important to know that people are looking at your footprint you leave online. You need to be careful what you put and post online.

Today is Mashables Social media day. We are planning a huge get together at Waverly beech at the tiki bar in back. Its always great to get together with good friends and just talk turkey. LOVE IT!

Received an email form @sarahatdell inviting me to be a part of a Customer Advisory Panel they are hosting. This is to be held in Austin, TX on June 17th. They just want to have some people who have talked Dell in Social Media to come to town and they want to listen Did I mention they would pay for all my expenses!! THEY WANT TO LISTEN!!! What a concept. How amazing!!! THANK YOU DELL for the invite… I’m sorry I can’t attend due to another engagement, but what an honor to be asked. I look forward to working with you. Dell gets it!!!

This morning I attended the New North Social Media breakfast hosted at Titletown in Green bay. I noshed with some great ones in the social media arena. What is different about this visit is I was going on behalf of HC Miller and not as an innocent bystander like my days of old at my last job. So many new people to meet, so few business cards to give out.

Today I talk about four square and a call from US Banker Magazine regarding the foursquare North Shore Bank. They are running an article on foursquare and saw my interaction on twitter. How great is someone reaching out tot elk social media with me. Also, I have a super high powered business lunch today with a great someone who I can’t tell you about but I’ll spill soon. This week had a less the positive experience with Urgent care and an Affinity doctor. I talked with Affinity customer care and had a very nice conversation. Talked with a long tie twitter friend today via phone call. its so nice just to pick up the phone and chat with someone. THAT ROCKED!!!! Sometimes just pick up the phone!

Tommy gets ready to go ring bells for the Salvation Army. Always makes you feel good to give back to the community. Last night Tommy leaned that a twitter friend lost their 2 yr old son in a drowning accident. Some people questioned the authenticity of the report and got hammered for questioning.
