We had this worry with our sweet princess. She defied the odds but while we were at the Children’s Hospital we saw 3 families say goodbye to their babies that were born with the same condition as our Lexi. It was heartbreaking to watch them hold their babies, make the hardest decision people could possibly make, and dress their babies for the last time. It was life altering. Today I still feel tremendous guilt that as they suffered the greatest heartbreak we were celebrating our babies survival. It is so important to constantly evaluate life and tell you loved ones how precious they are. Well done.

Ursula, thanks for stopping by and saying hello. Fatherhood and motherhood is the best and hardest thing you’ll ever love. My daughter Clara was 6 weeks early and had to spend 2 days in the NICU. She was only 4 lbs. which was tiny in my mind, but she made those other tots look like she was a giant. The 1 and 2 pounders there the size of coke cans… WOW. Whatever the reason, the Big man upstairs has a plan.
